Well done; yea, spoiled rotten, many have said...I got to Cal and they actually looked down on me for being from a middle class neighborhood in the East Bay (they quickly pegged me, correctly, I had to admit; maybe I didn't smell bad enough?), as not having the down and out, Free Speech Movement kinda street cred, you know? I tried to parlay my DEAD fandom into some status redemption, but they didn't go for it...it didn't help when Shakedown Street came out, you know? EDIT: OK, you know, how many "you knows" can I cram into a post, you know? Eh!??

That's funny Tell. I grew up a JAP in WLA. No traveling for me. I waited till they came around, which was often enough I guess. My biggest road trip when I lived in the Bay was Sac and Stockton. :)
